Anthony LeCour is a Managing Director and Head of Consumer and Retail banking practice at Dresner Partners. He specializes in providing food, beverage, personal products (with an emphasis on emerging growth brands) strategic and financial advice on mergers, acquisitions, sales, and growth capital.
Anthony LeCour has over 28 years of investment banking experience advising domestic and international companies, board of directors, and other constituents in the consumer and retail industry. During his career, Mr. LeCour has advised on over $90 billion of transactions, involving cross-border stock/cash mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs, minority stock purchases/strategic investments, joint ventures, and capital raising engagements.
Mr. LeCour numerous food, beverages, personal products, and agribusiness clients have included; ChemChina on its $3.5 billion acquisition of Makhstehim Agan (Israel), at that time the largest outbound transaction in China market; Bright Foods on its China joint venture with Nutracea (now Rice Bran Technologies), and on Bright's minority investment in GNC Stores China; Danisco (now Dupont Danisco) on their food ingredient joint venture with Bright Foods and Uni-President Foods; Monsanto on their minority stake purchase in Nutracea; Nutracea on the sale of majority interest in Irgovel SA (Brazil) to Alothon Group (Brazil); Eurofusion on sale of Aquacai Bottled Water to middle eastern group; ConAgra Food Ingredients on their acquisition of Saroni Sugar and Rice; Agroindustrias Covadonga SA on their sale of controlling interest in farm cooperative to Bunge Inc.; and Groupe LeCreuset Cookware on sale to Van Zuydam Group.
Additionally, Mr. LeCour has assisted on transactions with Assukkar (organic sugar production) SA, Teladoc Inc. (telemedicine provider), United Natural Foods, George Weston Ltd (Canada), Ingredion Inc. (formerly CPI), Newell Brands, FEMSA, Florida Ice and Farm (FIFCO), L Catterton, and Centerview Capital among other clients. Prior to Dresner Partners, Mr. LeCour was Global Head of Consumer and Retail group at Compass Partners Group, and previous to that position, he was a Managing Director in the M&A group at Cantor Fitzgerald. Before joining Cantor Fitzgerald, he held senior positions at GiroCredit Bank AG, and Citigroup. Mr. LeCour begin his career at Lehman Brothers.
Mr. LeCour holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has served as a Director at Leake and Watts Inc., one of the largest not-for-profit child welfare agencies in the New York metropolitan area.
