Mark Sarchet is a senior business valuation consultant providing valuation services for financial and tax reporting, litigation, and internal planning purposes to companies in variety of industries including high technology, health care, financial services, and manufacturing. Mr. Sarchet specializes in valuing intangible assets such as developed and in-process technologies, cross-licensing agreements, distribution agreements, customer relationships, patents, trademarks and trade names, and other intellectual property.
Mr. Sarchet was previously the Director of Business Valuation at the Strategic Equity Group in Irvine, California. Prior to that, Mr. Sarchet held various valuation positions at Berger Lewis Accountancy Corporation, Trenwith Valuation LLC (a subsidiary of BDO Seidman, LLP) and KPMG LLP. Prior to joining KPMG in 2000, Mr. Sarchet, spent seventeen years in engineering and engineering management in the aerospace, signal and communications intelligence, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and embedded real-time software industries.
Mr. Sarchet received an M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.S. and M.S.E.E. from the University of Iowa.
Mr. Sarchet is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers in the discipline of business valuation.
