Omar Diaz

Mr. Diaz has over 16 years of investment banking experience including, global M&A, capital raising and restructuring experience for public, privately-held and private equity owned middle market companies. His transaction experience includes sell side and buy side M&A advisory, take-over defense advisory and fairness opinion mandates. He also has worked on various financial restructuring transactions on both the debtor and creditor sides. He has executed deals in North America, Asia, Europe and Latin America. He is a frequent presenter and is quoted often on a variety of M&A and corporate-finance related topics.

Prior to joining Dresner Partners, Mr. Diaz was a Managing Director and Head of Allegiance Capital's Chicago Office. While at Houlihan, Mr. Diaz executed a wide variety of industrial transactions in the building products, chemicals and general manufacturing spaces. Before joining Allegiance, Mr. Diaz was a Senior Vice President in the Industrial Group at Houlihan Lokey and co-head of the Chemicals Practice. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, he was a Vice President at Acquest Advisors, a Houston-based investment banking boutique specializing in the chemicals, plastics and oil field services sectors. Previously, he was an Associate in J.P. Morgan's Mergers & Acquisitions group where he was responsible for the execution of buy-side and sell-side transactions. He also has worked at Bank of America in the Energy Corporate Finance Group and Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group in the Reorganization Services Group. Prior to earning his MBA, Omar was a project engineer for Amoco in Chicago.
